Gloucestershire Weapons Inspectors Mission

Gloucestershire Weapons Inspectors - a newly formed group (Sept 2002) of concerned citizens who aim to eliminate weapons of mass destruction from Gloucestershire.

Why pick Gloucestershire? - because we have USAF Fairford one of only three B-2 bomber forward bases in the world. The others being in Guam and Diego Garcia we considered these too far to go in our bio-diesel bus. So we're staring at home... today Gloucestershire, tomorrow who knows.

Our first action on 31-Oct-2002 was to highlight the possible presence of WMD at USAF Fairford. Since B-2 bombers have just been deployed to Fairford in the build-up to possible action in Iraq this is highly likely. The B-2 has been tested with new mini nuclear bombs designed for deeply buried targets, like Saddam Hussien's bunkers. Without weapons inspection of the base we cannot be sure these mini-nukes are not already at Fairford.
