G10 Bomber Watch moved by Americans
Acting totally outside of their juristiction Americans from USAF Fairford illegally forced the G10 Bomber Watch to move camp whilst police stood by. This follows hard on the heels of escalating harrassment of protesters including stop and search powers under section 44 of the Terrorism Act 2000. This is the first time this power has ever been used and is clearly being used to deter our legal right to protest. 3.30pm (11 Mar) - American base personnel forcing the camp to move by
building a fence through it.
4pm (11 Mar) 1 hour after Americans from the base started to uild a fence
through it. Support was scambled to help rescue all the belongings and
sort out the camp which is now functioning again.
